Carnaby bears : Bearly magic

Bearly magic is a scene made up of two bears, The great Bear-presto and his beautiful assistant, Amazing Grace.

Presto stands two and seven eighths (2 +7/8) inches tall without his hat, and three and a half inches tall with his hat.  Presto is made of 4mm semi-dense brown mohair, with brown ultrasuede foot and paw pads. He is fully jointed with a mixture of cotter pin and string joints. Presto is stuffed with kapok and is finished with Onyx eyes and a hand stitched nose.

Presto is dressed in ultra suede top hat and tails, finished with five miniature black buttons. His waist coat is made of lilac and gold, delicately patterned floral cotton, and is lined with lilac satin, two miniature buttons finish the garment allowing it to fasten. A lilac ribbon bow tie finishes the look.

Grace stands three inches tall and is made of 3mm dense ivory mohair, with light pink ultra suede foot and paw pads. Grace is also fully jointed with a mixture of cotter pin joints (head and legs,) and string joints (arms). She is stuffed with kapok and is also finished with onyx eyes and a pink hand stitched nose with iridescent stitching.

Grace is dressed in a pink ultra suede and ribbon dress, finished with two pink miniature buttons, allowing the dress to be removed. The dress has a star design, beaded with ivory coloured, tiny glass beads. Grace is also wearing a pink ribbon head dress with feather detail, and a suitably glam feather boa.

Presto and Grace can be seen performing (or at least trying to..) in a show, but things are going..... well lets say, not according to plan!

Presto did have a rabbit (made of fimo) hidden in his hat, but its escaping, as is the one 'hidden' under the table. The never ending knotted hanky has fallen out from Prestos' sleeve, and his deck of cards has fallen on the floor. One of the pigeons (also made of fimo) has decided to take up residence on the magic box, which refused to saw in half earlier in the show, and Grace is in a panic, not knowing what to do!
